The L3b file format is not a raster image format. The internal data model for SeaDAS is based on 2D raster images, so visualizing the L3b files is not directly possible. The data need to be mapped prior to display. You can use OCSSW -> l3mapgen to map A20203362020366.L3b_MO_CHL.nc, and then open A20...

It means that you are trying to open a file and there is something in the file that SeaDAS does not like. It might be helpful if you could tell us what file you tried to read?

The file corresponds to MODOOF.A2015137.1415.20151380602.001.PDS is MOD00.A2015137.1415_1.PDS. You need to download MOD00.A2015137.1415_1.PDS.bz2 and uncompress it as Sean said.

Also, please choose T instead of A for mission.

I did l2gen on A2008209061500.L1B_LAC without using subsetting options. There is no data in the region (27.65,100.73,27.76,100.85), assuming (south, west, north, east). I was not able to do l2gen on A2008209061500.L1B_LAC with the given subset config.

Did you forget to attach the files you want to show us?

multilevel_processor.py is now multilevel_processor. get_obpg_file_type.py is in ocssw/mlp

Do you have terra installed? One way to find out is to click OCSSW->update data processors. You should have terra grayed out and the checkbox underneath terra checked. If not, you should check that checkbox and then click run.
