HICO level 2 processing

Christophe,Almost.  The code released with SeaDAS v7.2 can process HICO with the full spectral resolution.  The hicohs data tree needs to be put in place of the hico data tree for this to work. It's still a work in progress, so no guarantees on the products it produces.  Little thi...

To quote from one of my favorite movies..."We have top men working on it right now".However, I cannot give an estimate as to when it will be finalized, but will say with confidence, not before the Spring....the conspiracy theorists  out there will notice I didn't put a year on tha...

Processing with the "null" landmask, or with the maskland=0 option set will still result in atmospheric correction failures over land.  The l2gen program is designed to retrieve over water.  All that using the null landmask does is force l2gen to process all pixels regardless ofw...

You can set maskland=0 or to be really sure land=$OCDATAROOT/common/landmask_null.dat.
Keep in mind we have NOT vicariously calibrated HICO, so while you may get a retrieval, the results may not be valid.

As Jasmine pointed out, l2gen currently only supports a "multi-spectral" HICO (16 bands matching MERIS wavelengths).   We've also not vicariously calibrated HICO.It is possible that the data have been flagged as cloud or another mask condition that would prevent atmospheric c...

Level 2 products for all hico bands

No, not yet anyway.  The l2gen program cannot yet handle hyperspectral data.

HICO l2 projection problem

Yes, using GPT (the Graph Processing Tool).   We're still working on a decent tutorial for this, however, there are several posts on this forum with examples.
There is also an overview presentation on the subject.

HICO l2 projection problem

By default, the Reprojection tool uses a nearest neighbor resampling approach.  It offers two others: bilinear and bicubic. If you select the bicubic approach, the reprojected image does not have these 'wing-like' artifacts.  I will contact our BEAMpartners (who developed the reproj...
