problems with MODIS / VIIRS Data access some anc data d/ls fine

Can you view the HTML in a browser to see what it is asking for, such as maybe an Earthdata login prompt?  Verify .netrc values?  Remove the ./.urs_cookies_get_* files to force a new one?I can't replicate the problem, so the getfile service is functioning.  You're saying it is...

The URLs on your failed examples seem to be missing the /getfile/ element of the URL.  The first successful case has it .../cgi/getfile/name-of-file but the others have .../cgi/name-of-file

Most files coming down as HTML

Have you tried adding the --netrc option to your command?  I ran your command and got the same HTML output, but adding the --netrc option brought down the actual data.

Day 346 Missing MET_NCEPR2 file

Hi Jane.Seems that we did not receive the standard NCEP GDAS file for Dec 11 12:00 from which we would make N202034612_MET_NCEP_6h.hdf, and that file is the main input to the NCEPR2 process. NCEP keeps 10 days of the GDAS files online, which indicates that the file did not get posted within a 10-day...

Problem access to ocean color data

The only time you need more than one ATT/EPH file is when the start or stop time of the granule being processed aligns with the start or stop time of an ATT/EPH file, which isn't the case for this granule.  Its start/stop times are well within the periods of the ATT/EPH files chosen.  ...

MODISA QLP stopped since 2020-12-03 17:50:00?

Hi Julien,

Indeed there was an issue.  The source server from which we obtain the L0 data started behaving oddly.  We switched to a secondary server, and the files were queued for ingest.  It will take our system an hour or two to catch up.

Regards,

older file, not all att or eph files returned

Brock,In the first case, the returned ATT file is a refined one with 2-hr coverage. With a 5-min granule starting at 1740, it's all you need.  The NRT files, both ATT and EPH, provide 5-min coverage, so you always need two of those when they are used.  The refined EPH for Aqua are deli...

Hi Amita,

The order is being restaged now.  You should receive a new staged-notification email within the next 15-30 minutes, if not sooner.  Let me know if you need help downloading the files.

Mark,Well, our admins have checked logs going back to Oct 1 and don't see any blocks on that IP or any in the /24 subnet.  So unless you gave me the wrong IP address by mistake, it doesn't look like the problem is related to blocking.  The next time you see the problem, you could t...
