The variables 'PixelCornerLatitudes' and 'PixelCornerLongitudes' contain the coordinates of the corners of each pixel. The NASA Goddard Earth Sciences Data and Information Services Center (GES DISC), provides MERRA-2 data. We would be glad to see your method here on the Forum. Regarding general advice, we saw that you can use Cygwin. Cdo has a lot of functionality: https://code.mpimet.mpg.de/projects/cdo/ . Dear TRMM user, The units for precipitation in both 3B42 and 3B43 are, mm/hr. For the 3B42 daily, mm.
