[help] Profile plot function

by phamicha » Sat Nov 11, 2017 3:33 am America/New_York

Hello,
I have a question related to Profile plot function.
When I use this function to make Profile plot along the line in Map of TSS. A result looks like the below figure.
My question is why three is a gray color area along the profile plot line? I mean it often haves blue line in the center this area, what does this mean?
Is there anyone help me to answer my question?

Click on see the "?" button to see the documentation.  You should see the following paragraph:
Standard deviation
The blue shade around the plot line indicates the standard deviation (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Standard_deviation#With_sample_standard_deviation) of the selected band pixel within a square box. The edge length of that square box can be set to any odd value between 1 and 101.

The same information is also available online.  If English is not easy for you, this has the advantage that you can also view Goggle's translation using the Chrome browser.
