Ideal range of Chlorophyll-a of ocean

by antu » Mon Dec 11, 2017 9:39 am America/New_York

Hello altruists,
I need to know "whats is the desired or ideal range of Chlorophyll-a concentration ( mgm^-3) of ocean for better fisheries ecosystem health? " and "what will be the range of low concentration?" and "what is the higher concentration range that cause bloom?"
If anyone know about this three questions, please let me know with references. I need this as soon as possible.

Thank you all.

Wow.  That is such an broad, open-ended question.  Chlorophyll concentrations
in the global ocean vary cross four orders of magnitude from lows near 0.01
milligrams per cubic meter in central ocean gyres to as high as 100 mg/m^3
in some highly eutrophic water bodies, and the causes of these variations can,
at times, be quite complex and are still not completely understood for all regions
and circumstances.

I would suggest that you spend time learning what we have already learned
about marine ecology (there are many books and courses that cover this topic).
Once you have gained an understanding of some of the basic principles, you
will be able to formulate more specific questions and perhaps help to advance
our understanding (and appreciation) of what the oceans do for us.

Here are some search results to get you started.

Best wishes for your studies,
Norman

Thanks Mr. Norman for your suggestions. I have already several papers of ecology, but cant get anything.
