Aerosol radiance is determined by the band set as aer_wave_long (typically 865nm or closest to it)
This value is subtracted from all bands in a spectrally flat (white) manner.

Dear Sean,
You means it refers to 'UV-AC' algorithm(atmospheric correction using ultraviolet wavelength) which is provided by Xianqiang He(2012) ?

No.  I mean the derived aerosol radiance is spectrally flat.
