About the calculation of relative azimuth angle

by liugers11 » Sun Oct 20, 2019 7:18 am America/New_York

Hi,
We want to do the atmospheric correction of OLCI images using the aerosol tables in SeaDAS. One step, we need to calculate the relative azimuth angle of each pixel and then obtain the aerosol properties of the aerosol tables in the matching relative azimuth angle. How can I calculate the relative azimuth angle of each pixel using Equation a or b as follows?
(a) Relative Azimuth = abs(Sensor Azimuth - 180.0 - Solar azimuth)
(b)  Relative Azimuth = abs(Sensor Azimuth  - Solar azimuth)

Best Wishes
Ge
