by jnetting » Mon May 18, 2020 5:16 am America/New_York

Hi

I'm unable to download the following and it isn't listed in the index.

S20201230012323_TOAST.OZONE

Is there an issue?

Thanks
Jane

I have contacted our provider to see if they can recover the missing source file.
The raw .bin file is on the NOAA server, so it should be available soon.

The data provider was unable to generate the TOAST grib product for 2020/05/02 due to unavailability of SBUV retrievals in the Southern Hemisphere for that day.  They also informed us of the following:
"I would like to give everyone heads up that we are planning to stop making TOAST blended products from SBUV/2 N19 and HIRS DATA and ETOAST products
from SBUV/2 and CrIS data because due to SBUV/2 satellite shift we do not have good global coverage on Southern Hemisphere anymore. Also we have now
better NTOAST Blended products from NPP OMPS and NPP CrIS data.
We are looking into making arrangements for us to receive the referenced NTOAST Blended products. We don't have a firm schedule yet on either the retirement or the availability of the replacement product."
