MODIS 250 m Rhos and Rrs

Hello,
I started generating multiyear Aqua MODIS L2 data at 250 m resolution. I see on https://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/docs/modis_hires/ that there are Hires MODIS sensor variants (HMODISA and HMODIST) that l2gen uses! I do not see these options in GUI and not sure whether they are used when I use l2gen on a linux machine with command line version!
Here is what I have been doing to get Rhos and Rrs from MODIS:
- I order and download L1A LAC files (AYYYYDDDxxxxxxx.L1A_LAC.x.hdf) from the Ocean Color website.
- I generate GEO files and L1A and L1B files ( LAC, HKM, and QKM).
- I use l2gen with resolution=250
How do I make sure that the correct libraries/tables are used ?
