sst 'NRT' naming

by rtomalley » Thu Feb 25, 2021 1:30 pm America/New_York

Hi thereI have noticed that the mapped 8day SST daytime product has a new naming starting on day 361 of 2020 and continuing into 2021.  I've checked the header info, and it's R2019 processing, and can't see significant differences with previous headers.  Here's an example of the file naming:  AQUA_MODIS.20201226_20201231.L3m.8D.SST.sst.9km.NRT.nc  Shall I treat these as "finalized" data, or should I wait for files that are posted without the NRT  naming ?Thanks Robert

Those NRT 8-day files were for a special request. There will be non-NRT files available when the refined ancillary data are published.
