How can I get fire count data to download?

by sahir » Wed Mar 10, 2021 5:17 pm America/New_York

Hello,

I searched the whole of your web service but was not able to download FIRE COUNTS for my required custom region and custom timeline.

Can you please direct me to the same.?

Note:- I don't want FRP, Brightness, etc which is already there in CSV files
What I want is 'No. of fire counts'

Thanks in advance

Hi Sahir,
Have you tried NASA's Fire Information for Resource Management System (FIRMS) at:
https://earthdata.nasa.gov/earth-observ ... time/firms
The FIRMS distributes active fire data from MODIS and VIIRS instruments.

I have already tried this but the issue is that there is no column of FIRE COUNTS in the CSV file that I am downloading.

You should ask your question to FIRMS user support by clicking the “Feedback” link in upper right corner of FIRMS page.
