Hi.
If we want to generate the 11 µm daily L3 SST product from Aqua satellite which has two products like night time and day time SST, which one should we choose for representing the daily SST? Night time or day time? or take average of both data? and why? Thank you.

The choice of SST products and subsequent processing depends on your use case, so it is impossible to give a proper answer to your question. There have been many papers comparing SST products with in situ data and other SST products. These may help your decision. Satellite SST's often have so few pixels with the highest quality data that you have difficulty mapping fronts and eddies, so you may need to approach the problem from more of a "what is the minimal quality that will give useful results?" rather than "what is the best SST product?" mindset.
