Hello,

I am downloading Terra and Aqua L0 granules from NASA LANCE NRT DAAC site
https://nrt3.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/api ... es/allData... as soon as
they are available using a token I got in mid-April. On May 3, I get an authentication error
message from the wget commands in my script. Do I need to update my token from time
to time. If yes, what purpose does it serves if it messes with automatic processes?

P.S. I do not knowe under which tag it could be classified.

Hi. Last week we received an email from the LANCE group about a mishap that invalidated tokens created before Monday, May 3. You might just need to create a new token and use it. I can't speak to the expiration issue.

On May 6, 2021 following email was sent to all lance-modis users informing them about an issue with token generated prior to Monday, May 3:

Dear lance-modis Users,
On Monday, due to a bug we lost the encryption keys used to generate/verify our app tokens and had to generate new ones after fixing the bug. This means any app tokens generated before approximately 4pm Monday can no longer be verified and won’t be accepted but any new tokens generated will work without expiring.
