PODAAC Request for New GCMD Keywords

The PODAAC would like to request the following be added as GCMD keywords:
Earth Science -> Oceans -> Water Quality -> Sea Surface Contaminants
Earth Science -> Oceans -> Water Quality -> Sea Surface Contaminants -> Microplastic Concentration

Thank you for your keyword request. Can you please provide a rationale and definition and reference for these keyword suggestions. We are also going to be adding the other Ocean keyword changes that you and Ed Armstrong suggested during the ESO review. We are planning to have that done by next Friday.

Hi, the CYGNSS team is producing the L3 monthly microplastic dataset which is going to be officially released by the end of this month, here is the ATBD link:

These keywords have been added and will be part of the next keyword release on Friday October 29.
