GCMD KMS API Users are unable to view a small set of keywords using the GCMD API call for All Science Keywords

by GCMD - sritz » Thu Nov 04, 2021 4:20 pm America/New_York

We are investigating an issue where users of the GCMD API call for "All Science Keywords" in csv format are unable to view the following keywords:

Science Keyword > Oceans > Sea Surface Topography > Sea Level
Science Keyword > Oceans > Sea Surface Topography > Sea Level > Sea Level Anomaly
Science Keyword> Oceans > Sea Surface Topography > Sea Level > Mean Sea Level
Science Keyword> Oceans > Sea Surface Topography >Dynamic Topography
Science Keyword > Oceans > Sea Surface Topography >Dynamic Topography > Absolute Dynamic Topography

This also impacts the CMR Metadata Management Tool (MMT) Science Keyword Pick-List as it retrieves its keywords using the KMS API.

Users may view individual keywords using the single concept call KMS API call. rdf and json formats supported.

Example: View "Dynamic Topography" in rdf format
https://gcmd.earthdata.nasa.gov/kms/con ... format=rdf

No action needed. Users may view the complete GCMD Science Keyword set using the GCMD Keyword Viewer at https://gcmd.earthdata.nasa.gov/KeywordViewer/ or the KMS API Single Concept API Call.
