by GES DISC - jimacker » Wed Nov 17, 2021 1:50 pm America/New_York

The Goddard Earth Sciences Data and Information Services Center (GES DISC) has developed an ArcGIS Enterprise system that will allow users access to Geographic Information Systems (GIS) - ready layers of popular datasets on the Internet. The initial ArcGIS image service released is the IMERG Early Precipitation Rate. IMERG, the Integrated Multi-satellitE Retrievals for Global Precipitation Measurement dataset (https://doi.org/10.5067/GPM/IMERG/3B-HH-E/06) is a global Level 3 dataset containing precipitation rate measured in mm/hr with a 30-minute time interval and coverage dating back to June 1, 2000. As IMERG Early Precipitation Rate is a near-real-time dataset, the service is updated throughout the day to ensure users have access to all available IMERG Early data.
