More recent SST data

by drivas76 » Tue Nov 30, 2021 1:15 am America/New_York

Hello,
I'm interested in the October (2021) composite of the 4 km-resolution sea surface temperature (4 micrometers, nighttime). When do you expect these data would be available?
DAVID

David,
A required ancillary data set was discovered to have an issue and is being regenerated by the producer. It affects data going back several months, but was only identified recently. We therefore have not processed the refined SST product for October (nor November) and will not until the reprocessed ancillary data are available. I do not have an estimate for when that will be completed, but hopefully soon.

If you require the data now, you can use SeaDAS to bin the NRT daily product into a monthly file...with the caveat that it will not be the refined product.

Sorry for the inconvenience,

Sean
