The easiest way to visualize MOPITT data is through NASA Worldview. This website is helpful if you just would like to look at the data, and not do any analysis.

It also depends on which level of data (Levels 1 - 4) you are interested in looking at. For Level 3 data, you can use Panoply to visualize. You can download the Panoply desktop software here: https://www.giss.nasa.gov/tools/panoply/. You can download the .nc (netcdf) file you are interested in looking at, to your local computer, and then use Panoply to open the file.

For Level 2 data, the ASDC DAAC stores a .jpg image of daily Level 2 swaths of Carbon Monoxide (CO), at different heights/pressure levels in the atmosphere. An example can be found here: https://asdc.larc.nasa.gov/data/MOPITT/ ... 020.01.30/
