I'm doing my undergraduate thesis with CentroGeo in Mexico, related with
wind energy and satellital image processing, to study the relationship
between cloud motion and wind speed.
I'd like to know if you have images available from GOES16-MODIS
(aqua/terra) or another satellite images that can help me to study cloud
motion

The MISR instrument has a freely available cloud motion vector (CMV) product that retrieves cloud motion from 275 m resolution imagery captured over a 7 minute span.

For an example, check out this retrieval of hurricane winds:
https://misr.jpl.nasa.gov/multimedia

At the same website, you can find more info about MISR and how to obtain CMV data.

You may also want to reach out to LAADs, MODAPSUSO@lists.nasa.gov , and PO.DAAC, podaac@podaac.jpl.nasa.gov , for additional information on GOES MODIS data.
