The wavelength reported in the Aerosol_Optical_Depth field is 550 nm. If you wish to calculate the AOD at another wavelength between 400 and 900 nm, they can use the Spectral_AOD_Scaling_Coefficient field, which reports three coefficients (c1, c2, and c3) which yield the AOD as a function of wavelength according to the following equation:
AOD(λ) = c1λ2 + c2λ + c3

hello sir, i need to know i want to plot aod versus month graph from 2011-2017 data. and secondly want to analyze the extinction coefficient. like below is one month data of aerosol optical depth. how to plot graph of AOD versus months from this data. At specific location, latitude and longitude i have to sum up the values and then divide it with total number. and then add mean of all the months values. right? i want to plot monthly mean aod versus months.
regards
