The GES DISC has published the Data-in-Action article entitled
"Comparison of IMERG Early and Late Run Precipitation Data Products for Derecho Event of May 3, 2020".

In this article, rainfall data products from the Integrated Multi-satellitE Retrievals for Global Precipitation Measurement (IMERG), available at half-hour temporal resolution, provide a fascinating view of the derecho’s path as it moved and evolved. IMERG data are available in three different versions: Early Run, Late Run, and Final.
