I am aware the EPIC images taken use the RBG channels, however the only ones released to the public are already combined, is there a way to have access to the raw images that contain each separate channel?

The original per-band images are in the level 1B EPIC products. They need to download the HDF 5 products stored on the ASDC/Earthdata website and use an HDF reader to view the images.
