TAD was designed to meet the user community needs for manipulating aircraft data for scientific research on climate change and air quality
relevant issues. Features include the ability to:

Select data based on mission, date and/or scientific parameter
Output original data submitted by each measurement Principal
Investigator (PI)
Create merged, i.e. geolocated data, from one or multiple measurement PIs.

Please note that the TAD app does not exist any longer.
We recommend using the Soot Tool Instead:

To get a TAD login,
  1. Go to the TAD web app (tad.larc.nasa.gov/login.php)
  2. At the bottom of the page (you will probably have to scroll down) select the a "New User Registration" option.
  3. Follow the prompts to enter your information and create your login id and password
  4. When creating a password you are allowed to use uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, only special characters: #, %, -, +, ., and_. There is no waiting period. You will be able to use the tool immediately.
