Hello,

I cannot log into the Ocean Color Forum or the EarthData Forum to ask my question, so I'll ask it here(support email).

I am having trouble with SeaDAS software. My machine is having trouble running MODIS L1A to MODIS GEO. I am on a mac using Python 2.7 with SeaDAS 7.5.3.

The error I receive is:

An OB DAAC Subject Matter Expert (SME) has provided the following response:

Looks like the user is having trouble downloading ancillary files. In order to download data you have to be able to authenticate using EarthData. If the user cannot login into the forum because of the NASA DNS issues, then they will not be able to download data either.

Seems similar results can be expected with any applications requiring Earthdata Login for authorization when it is down or undergoing maintenance. Please wait a while and try logging into the application again.
