Ocean Color Community Members,

Greetings. The Ocean Color Research Team Meeting is officially scheduled for 14-16 April 2004 in Washington, D.C. USA. A OCRT Meeting website should be posted within the next week with full meeting details.

Registration: Registration will be available via the meeting website (to be posted within the next week). There will be a modest registration fee (approximately $25 US) which all meeting attendees will be required to pay.

Hotel: The meeting is going to be held at the Marriott Metro Center http://marriott.com (/property/propertyPa ... Code=WASMC) . The hotel is Metrorail accessible, and is located right on the Metro Center rail stop. A block of rooms is being held at the hotel under the name "NASA OCRT" or "NASA Ocean Color Research Team". The cost of the hotel is $150/night. NASA will cover the cost of lodging for those lead PIs with current NASA contracts or grants, as well as all new lead PIs from the EOS Recompetition, Reason CAN, and IDS Solicitations. Parking is available on-site for a fee.

Airfare: There are three airports into which you can fly: Washington Reagan National (DCA, the closest, and Metrorail accessible: https://www.flyreagan.com/dca/reagan-national-airport), Washington Dulles International (IAD: https://www.flydulles.com (/iad/dulles-in ... al-airport), and Baltimore-Washington International (BWI: https://www.bwiairport.com/). All registrants will be responsible for any costs incurred for airfare or other means of travel.

Posters: A poster session will be held on the evenings of 14 and 15 April. Current and recently-awarded NASA PIs are strongly encouraged to bring a poster presentation of their current NASA research. Details on poster size and related information will follow shortly.

The meeting is open to all ocean color remote sensing scientists, and NASA PIs are strongly encouraged to attend.

Please feel free to send any questions to paula.s.bontempi@nasa.gov.

Hope to see you all in April for a productive meeting!

Best wishes,

Paula
