Ocean Color Top 10 Accomplishments requested

Hi Everyone,

At the Ocean Color Science Team meeting next week in Portland, we are
planning on presenting the community's view of the top-10 accomplishments
from ocean color observations. This might actually be useful for planning
and programmatic purposes within NASA and for other agencies.

My plan was to do this informally and ask everyone at the beginning of the
meeting to submit a top-10 list which we could then produce a prioritized
top-10 list (kinda like what John Dunne did at the last couple US-JGOFS SMP
workshops). After talking with several people who will not be able to
attend, it seemed reasonable to broaden the scope of this activity. So, if
you are attending the OCRT, please bring a hard copy list of your favorite
10 best accomplishments from the past (near) decade of ocean color
observations. If you are not attending, I will try to include your input in
this exercise. Please by Friday email to me (davey@icess.ucsb.edu) a top-10
list with the Subject Line: "Ocean Color Top 10 Accomplishments".

Thanx for the help in this,

DV
