Non-extracted, non-subsetted L1/L2 Browser Ordering

by OB.DAAC - SeanBailey » Tue Jul 19, 2011 3:58 pm America/New_York

As part of our transition away from FTP data distribution, we have implemented a change to
the L1/L2 Browser ordering mechanism for non-extracted (spatial), non-subsetted (parameter) orders.

If you make such an order through the browser, you will now be presented with a text file
containing URL links to the files contained in your order.

These URL links can be used immediately to download your requested data. These downloads can
be done in bulk (similar to FTP). You can save the resulting page and use it as input to a script to
retrieve the files, additionally the Firefox add-on DownThemAll will work on this results page.

If your order requested spatial extracts and/or parameter subsetting, the previous ordering mechanism will be used.

Regards,
Sean
