Landsat OLI processing

Hello,
After several months I am resuming Landsat-8 OLI processing -- getting L2 from L1 -- using l2gen on NCCS adapt/container. Earlier I have processed OLI data for multiple years without any problem. Now, the processing does start but then I get a series of following messages/errors that I have never seen before!

pj_obj_create: Cannot find proj.db
proj_create_operation_factory_context: Cannot find proj.db

Please help!

I am assuming that you are using SeaDAS 8.1.0. Please let us know if you are running l2gen with GUI or on command line.

If you are using GUI, please post the result of SeaDAS-OCSSW -> SeaDAS/System Info here. Otherwise, please run

Please also share the filename of one of your OLI L1 files.

I'm guessing this may have to do with the fact that l2gen cannot process Landsat Collection 2 data yet.

Thank you for your replies.
I am not using GUI but command line version on a linux machine. I guess it must be the Collection 2 data!
About SeaDAS version on adapt I have two versions -- but SeaDAS-8 has issues so I am using 7.5.3!

l2gen cannot process OLI collection 2 data yet. Hopefully it can with the next tag of OCSSW.

Hello,
I tried running OLI Collection-1 data. On my Mac, with a GUI I can run l2gen and process OLI images. But even with Collection-1, on adapt/container I get the same messages as before! When I typed 'seadas_info', strangely I get this message '/usr/bin/env: python3 : No such file or directory. But the system python is v 3.7.4. And I had no problem processing OLCI L1 to L2 data just a day or so ago! Not sure wha to do.

Just to clarify, are you able to do l2gen on OLI L1 on adapt/container two days ago? With SeaDAS-7.5.3 or 8.1.0?
