What is the difference in the information obtained by full power laser and coverage laser, and is it possible to use only full power laser in dense forests?Whether the complete area occupied by the eight beamss and the area of the next eight beams have overlapping parts?

Hi @meiyuanchen Please read this paper (https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2666017220300018) to help answer your questions. The GEDI team also mentioned "Nighttime power beams are a good place to start over dense forests." Thank you.
