Hi, I know the LPDAAC Data Pool was offline due to planned maintenance, but I noticed it never seemed to be restored today (looking for MOD11A1 v6.1 data). I saw the VIIRS and ASTER data restored for a bit but are gone now.
I was able to download the 2022 195 data Monday morning, but 196 and 197 were incomplete (looked like the data hadn't finished uploading to the Data Pool).
Is there an estimate of when the Data Pool will return? And do you know if the incomplete data will be uploaded? Thanks so much for any information!
Hi @khyamamoto Just wanted to follow up. MOD11A1 V.61 data should be available now. I am able to see and access data from 195 through 200. Please try again and email the LP DAAC user services (email@example.com) if you are still not able to access the data. Thank you.
Hi @bhjolly we are experiencing a higher than average load on the data pool after our planned maintenance which is causing time out issues. It is up and running, so please continue to try accessing it throughout the day. We also recommend using AppEEARS to access the MOD11A1 data. https://appeears.earthdatacloud.nasa.gov/

We have been trying to access the LPDAAC Data Pool since Thursday - checking at all hours, including the weekend, and we keep encountering the website timing out. Is there another option to downloading the global set of hdf files for MOD11A1.061? Are there plans to improve the access for the data pool?
Early last week the USGS EROS Center completed a significant maintenance activity, after bringing the systems back up the LP DAAC is experiencing high volumes of user traffic. This is impacting data downloads for some users and causing timeouts. We are looking into performance improvements affecting data access. We apologize for any inconvenience this may be causing.
