missing Level-3 Mapped files

by tobyw » Tue Nov 22, 2022 4:12 pm America/New_York

Hi all -

We recently downloaded all the R2022 MODISA Daily, L3 Mapped products. It appears that there are some days with missing 'chlor_a' products scattered throughout the record. The images are missing in L3 Browser as well (maybe that's a given). In particular, there are a handful of missing days in 2003, 2005, and 2008. In 2009, there is a larger number of days missing (48), and there doesn't seem to be any pattern. Also, I haven't noticed this problem with any other products, just chlor_a. Not sure how high it will rise on the to-do list, but can you please regenerate the missing products :)

Thanks much!
Toby

The web developers are looking at why the files are not showing up in the browsers.

@tobyw Did you see the problem for other periods or just for Daily products?

I did not notice any similar problems with 8Day or Monthly products, just the Daily files. And just for the chlor_a products. However, I didn't do an exhaustive check of every product/resolution.

Thanks!

All the files should have been restored. Please try again and let us know if there are any problems.
