MODIS Data Hold

Based on the update of the processing hold https://lpdaac.usgs.gov/news/terra-modis-processing-on-hold-as-of-december-1-2022/ we would have expected MODIS data to be available regularly again, but we are seeing no new products after Nov 30. Is there a timeline when products will be regularly available again?

We are specifically targeting v6 MOD09CMA, MOD09CMG, MYD09CMA and MYD09CMG.

The V6 Terra MODIS data production hasn't started yet after the hold only processing for V6.1 could start. We recommend all users to start using V6.1 data instead.

Our pipelines for HLS are all configured and tested using v6 data. Can you provide an estimate for when the v6 processing will restart (and why it has not already)?

The V6 data processing was not started because the issue with the L1 geolocation processing could not been resolved by the MODIS geolocation team. We don't have an estimate at this time.
