Extract height metrics from vector points
I have collected field data in the form of vector point shapefile (attributes: latitude, longitutde, height of trees). How can I extract height metrics for these same points using the GEDI data? i.e., I would like to sample height values from the GEDI image using the point data. I would greatly appreciate any ideas on this.

How are you planning to work with the GEDI data? Through an interface like ArcGIS or QGIS, or programmatically using Python?
