ORNL DAAC Announces GEDI L4A File Updates

The ORNL DAAC announces an updated to GEDI L4A Data. Due to a processing issue, 8 granules were affected from the orbits 9899 and 17591 of the GEDI L4A Footprint Level Aboveground Biomass Density dataset. The ORNL DAAC has released an update that replaces the affected granules with revised files and the revised granules are indicated with a different production version.

The Global Ecosystem Dynamics Investigation (GEDI) Level 4A Footprint Level Aboveground Biomass Density data provides predictions of the aboveground biomass density (AGBD; in Mg/ha) and estimates of the uncertainty within each sampled geolocated laser footprint.

Data are available through various NASA Earthdata data tools and services, including Earthdata Cloud, OpeNDAP, and Harmony.
