Sentinel-1 Interferograms in EarthData
Sentinel-1 Interferograms in EarthData
Hi, I download the ready image of Sentinel-1 Interferometry from the Earthdata site, the image is in nc format. I was wondering why I couldn't open that in arcgis.

Re: Sentinel-1 Interferograms in EarthData
If you download a "Sentinel-1 Interferograms - Unwrapped Phase" (https://search.earthdata.nasa.gov/search/granules?p=C1595765183-ASF&pg[0][v]=f&pg[0][gsk]=-start_date&q=sentinel-1%20interferograms&tl=1705544619.393!3!!) product, it will be in GeoTIFF format and can be opened in a GIS application.
Thanks,

Dear Bill, Thanks for information.
I was wondering if we could get the displacement in geotif format as well?

Re: Sentinel-1 Interferograms in EarthData
The unwrapped interferogram is the displacement product, according to JPL (https://aria.jpl.nasa.gov/products/standard-displacement-products.html). They do not provide individual files for vertical and line-of-site displacement like the ASF HyP3 On Demand service provides.
If you would like more information on using the free HyP3 On Demand service, please view the user guide: https://hyp3-docs.asf.alaska.edu/using/vertex/
And here is information on how to import NetCDF (.nc) files, such as the Sentinel-1 Interferograms, into ArcGIS and QGIS: https://ereefs.aims.gov.au/ereefs-aims/help/how-to-open-a-NetCDF-file-with-ArcMap-and-QGIS
Thanks,
Bill
