APIv2: TemporalRange across years giving strange results
APIv2: TemporalRange across years giving strange results
I was querying for date ranges based on time windows and I noticed I got fewer files than expected. The search query in question was
https://ladsweb.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/api/v2/content/archives?products=MYD06_L2&temporalRanges=2022-12-31T00%3A00..2023-01-01T01%3A00
I would expect a full day's worth of results for 2022-12-31 and an hour worth of results for 2023-01-01, but instead I got an hour worth of results for both days. If I move the temporal range one day into the future (2023-01-01 to 2023-01-02) the search behaves as expected. Is there an explanation for this, or are date ranges across years not being handled properly?
Thank you for your time!

Thanks very much for notifying this issue. Yes, seems to be a bug. We will try to get to it soon, however due to current priorities it might take several weeks before this gets resolved. We are expecting that the earliest we can get to it is around middle of July.

That's perfectly fine, I will work around it in the meantime. Thanks for addressing my issue. Is there any bug tracking issue I can follow?

Yes, there is ticketing system but this is internal for the development team and not open to public. You can check back towards the middle to end of July.
