The Suomi National Polar-orbiting Partnership (SNPP) GPS recovery was successfully carried out on June 3, 2024. Restoration of the geolocation accuracy has been confirmed and normal production of all SNPP VIIRS Version 1 and Version 2 data products has resumed, starting with June 5. Data gaps may persist from May 25 through June 5, 2024, as reprocessing of data continues.
