JPSS1 VIIRS L2 containing suspect "CI" metadata

by dem1 » Thu Jun 27, 2024 11:14 am America/New_York

Hi,

Our automatic download chain got this file:
JPSS1_VIIRS.20240626T040600.L2.OC.NRT.nc
which contains:
:processing_version = "CI"
:pversion = "CI"
instead of
:processing_version = "R2022.0"
:pversion = "R2022.0"
Was it an error and do we need to delete it on our side?
Now I don't found it using the direct access https://oceandata.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/directdataaccess/Level-2/NOAA21-VIIRS/2024/178/

Thanks,
Julien

There were some changes to the processing scripts introduced last week and these files look to have processed while the scripts were in flux. I will reprocess them to get the correct metadata in the files, but the differences are only in the metadata.
