SAGE quick look up Data

by lipi » Tue Jul 02, 2024 11:01 am America/New_York

I don’t understand the legend completely in the SAGE quick look up Data

The URL is:
https://sage.nasa.gov/sageiii-iss/browse_images/quicklook/SAGEWeb/Quicklook/daily/2022/11/24//QL_DAILY_H2O_20221124.jpg

Today's date July 2, 2024 at 11EST

For egs:

2022112403SR

Means Year:2022, Month: November, Data: 24, SR: sunrise.

I don’t know what ‘03’ signify?

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in SAGE data.

The last two digits denote the number of the science event for that day. This forms the 'event ID' of each science collection. The decoding of the 'event ID', which is also used in the file name can be found on page 8 of the DPUG (DPUG_G3B_v05.30.pdf (nasa.gov)). Typically there are 3 science events per orbit: sunset, sunrise, limb scatter, but occasionally there are lunar occultations between sunset and sunrise.

Regards,
ASDC
