Authentication failure - using Wget on HPC based Linux

Hi there,

I am trying to download MERRA-2 tavg3_3d_cld_Np data from GES DISC using wget on HPC based Linux and following the instructions here: https://disc.gsfc.nasa.gov/information/howto?title=How%20to%20Access%20GES%20DISC%20Data%20Using%20wget%20and%20curl

I have the correct login credentials. However, I get a username/password failure with the following message

Reusing existing connection to urs.earthdata.nasa.gov:443.
HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 401 Unauthorized

Username/Password Authentication Failed.

Can anyone help me with how to resolve this issue? Thank you!
