MODIS Aqua SST L2P outage

Due to a change in the input format for the GHRSST MODIS Aqua L2P SST dataset (https://doi.org/10.5067/GHMDA-2PJ19), its production has temporarily halted. The exact length of the outage is unknown at this point. The last valid date is July 7, 2024. More information will be forthcoming.

In the future when formatting changes occur I recommend that more notice be given. There are many products that use the MODIS l2P, inclusive the MUR SST data. These products are used operationally so reformatting issues can impact possible downtime of the product and create issues. I would also like to echo Ed Armstrongs comments.
