FPAR product MCD15A2H stopped on 1st June?
FPAR product MCD15A2H stopped on 1st June?
Hello, I am trying to download the most updated data from FPAR product MCD15A2H, using the rest API, for northern Italy. I see that the product is not updating, the last available date is June 1 2024. Is this normal? Where can I find more information about this?
Thanks for your help

Hi,
I am not familiar with "rest API". However the data is current. You may want to access it it a different way if that is not working. I just ran an Earthdata Search you can use this link to get the data: https://search.earthdata.nasa.gov/search/granules?p=C2222147000-LPCLOUD&pg[0][v]=f&pg[0][gsk]=-start_date&q=MCD15A2H&sb[0]=5.58984%2C40.6095%2C15.67969%2C46.23363&tl=1720702220!3!!&lat=41.23752509369478&long=-4.39453125&zoom=4
Thanks,
Brett

Thanks, but I am not sure how I can implement a scheduled download process. I will check the documentation.

Re: FPAR product MCD15A2H stopped on 1st June?
Hi Mattia,
Would like to be set up on a subscription so that when data is ingested into the archive it can automatically stage an order and send you a notification? Or it can also be set up to ftp push data directly to a server on your end. This will be available for the next 1-2 years as after that all data will be ingested directly in the cloud and a subscription service for the cloud has not been developed yet.
Thanks,
Brett

Yes, a subscription would be the solution. Can we discuss this more in detail? Who should I contact?
Thanks for your help,

Re: FPAR product MCD15A2H stopped on 1st June?
Hi,
Yes, could you email us through our LPDAAC email: lpdaac@usgs.gov
It is a better way to set this up, we can then email a form for you to fill out. Basically, all we need is the product, your area of interest (preferably tile range), and the temporal period, which we can just leave open ended.
Thanks,
Brett
