Looking for data of DSCOVR EPIC SO2 product
Hello, I'm looking for the data: DSCOVR EPIC Level 2 Sulfur dioxide (SO2) Product with EPIC Version 3 Input Version 2.
https://asdc.larc.nasa.gov/project/DSCOVR/DSCOVR_EPIC_L2_SO2_02
But the data in Jan, especially in 2022/1/16 and after 2022/1/19 , seems not available.
Can anyone tell me why the data is not available those days ,or where can I download them, thanks.

Re: Looking for data of DSCOVR EPIC SO2 product
Hello hy030619, I passed your question to the DSCOVR sciences team. The answer is that their SO2 product algorithm is only able to detect SO2 when there is a significant volcanic event. The science team only process when there is an active volcanic event to save on compute resources. If you provide a specific timeframe of interest, SO2 product can be created for those dates.
Re: Looking for data of DSCOVR EPIC SO2 product
Thank you for your reply.
The fact is there is a significant volcanic event (Hunga Tonga–Hunga Haʻapai eruption) on 15 January 2022,in the southern Pacific Ocean. I have used the data from 13th to 18th to see the spread of SO2,but the data in 16th and after 19th is not available, it's strange. It may be not that significant after 19th,but why 16th was skipped ?
Can I get the data in 16th,better with after 19th(only in January is enough) ?So that I can get a more continuous result.
Thanks again.
