I am currently running SeaDAS 9.0.1 and using OCSSW l2gen to process Landsat 8 imagery. When I open a L1 file and view the contents I can open/close the product and quit/restart SeaDAS and everything works as expected.
However, when I run l2gen from the GUI and the processing completes it seems to delete any .txt files that were associated with the input file (perhaps as some sort of clean-up step?). This deletes the *_MTL.txt file so the file cannot be re-opened in SeaDAS without first re-extracting the .tar file.
Processing the same input file from the command line preserves the *_MTL.txt and *_ANG.txt files, as expected.
Is anyone else having this problem or know of a solution?
Thanks,
Brandon

Re: Missing *.txt files after running l2gen
What tag of OCSSW are you using?
You can find the information when you do SeaDAS-toolbox -> Software & System Info
