Dear NASA Data Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well.
I am currently working on a project that involves analyzing nighttime lights data, specifically using the NASA Product ID VNP46A4 - VIIRS/NPP Lunar BRDF-Adjusted Nighttime Lights Yearly data. I have accessed the data through the following link: https://ladsweb.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/archive/allData/5000/VNP46A4/2012/001/.
However, I noticed that there are numerous files available for download, and I am unsure about the specific meaning of each file. Could you please clarify the following:
File Naming Convention: What do the different components of the file names represent?
Required Files: Which specific files or data layers should I download if my objective is to analyze the yearly night light data for a given region?
I would greatly appreciate your guidance in selecting the appropriate files for my analysis.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
Best regards,
File name
