Due to a recent database issue, the on-demand ASTER Level 1 Precision Terrain Corrected Registered At-Sensor Radiance (ASTER L1T) Version 3.1 product has been using Collection 2 (C2) GLS2000 reference imagery to generate specific metadata information rather than the Collection 1 GLS2000, which has resulted in a minimal impact to the precision correction geometric accuracy reported. The date range of the impact includes all data ingested between September 5 – 13, 2024. The LP DAAC has put the original C1 GLS2000 back into production and is taking actions to reprocess all affected granules to replace C2 GLS2000 with the original C1 GLS2000 for the impacted data.
