MODISA/T L1 data in EarthData Search
Dear Support,
I'm going to report two problems:
(1) In EarthData Search portal https://search.earthdata.nasa.gov/search, if I click 'Browse Portals' and select 'OBDAAC', products 'MODISA_L1' and 'MODIST_L1' will not be seen, although their metainfo show the 'OB.DAAC' tag.
(2) Search filter Day/Night got incorrect results for 'MODISA_L1' and 'MODIST_L1'. I did this by using API, for day granule only, spatial limit of 42.5-45.8N and 11.8-16E, temporal limit of 2024-08-02 (in search portal you can roughly select the area by mouse, and you will get the idea). I got the following matched granules, and the first two were apparently night granules.:
=========================
A2024215010500.L1A_LAC
A2024215024500.L1A_LAC
A2024215121000.L1A_LAC
A2024215135000.L1A_LAC
========================
This was an example. You will see this error almost everywhere.

The metadata files have been corrected. We are investigating to see if additional files have been affected.

Thanks for the prompt responses.
I believe much more were affected. I'm going to wait until it's all fixed.
