http links reappeared in file indexes

by benj » Fri Jan 13, 2017 5:11 am America/New_York

Just to say that the file links on the index pages (eg. https://oceandata.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/MODIS-Aqua/L2/2017/012) have reverted to http. It gets redirected, so it's not the end of the world, but a) anyone that uses those links and can't follow redirects will break and b) anyone who was silly enough (ahem) to hardcode "https" into a download regex (rather than "https?") will break. Can't imagine who would be silly enough to do that...

(We're fixed now, just figured I'd mention it for the benefit of others!)

Temporary hiccup.  We're trying to clear out some of the smoke from our hall of mirrors. Should be resolved soon.
