The Suomi National Polar-orbiting Partnership (Suomi NPP) mission experienced another Global Positioning System (GPS) anomaly that started around 02:31:00 UTC on November 2, 2024. Given the degradation in the geolocation performance, all production of Suomi NPP VIIRS land data products has been temporarily suspended. Further updates will be provided once performance has been evaluated by the instrument Cal/Val teams and processing has been resumed.
